Quality Engineer (Tunnel Construction Project)

Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services ( www.protecnium.com/en ). We are currently looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team for a Tunnel Project. Location: outside London (South Area) Estimated duration of the position: 12-month contract collaborating with the client. Once the project ends, we aim to place the employee in other projects to ensure continuity. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours weekly Responsibilities: Check the quality of the concrete segments during production at the factory. Make sure the segments meet all project and quality standards. Inspect the segments (visually and dimensionally) before they are sent to the construction site. Review test results for concrete strength and other key properties. Report any quality problems and help find solutions. Work closely with the factory team and project quality staff. Prepare simple reports about inspections and quality checks. Requirements: Experience of around 3 years as a Quality Engineer with precast concrete, preferably with tunnel segments. Basic knowledge of quality control in concrete production. Experience with TBM projects is a plus. Benefits: Travel at the beginning and end of the project.
