Role Overview: As an MSP Sales & Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of expanding our MSP offerings in the UK. This role is built for a self-motivated sales professional who not only understands the intricacies of the MSP market and its business models but also has the capability to cultivate strong relationships through both remote collaboration and face-to-face client engagements. Your mission will be to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, nurturing existing relationships, and positioning ManageEngine as the go-to partner for MSPs across the region. Please note, this role is Remote, with frequent on-site meetings across the UK to meet with Customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the MSP market.
- Responsible for inbound leads from multiple channels.
- Responsible for the target/sales numbers for the MSP product vertical.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our customer base.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and drive conversions.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Establish strong, long-lasting relationships with MSP decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular reviews and onsite meetings to understand client needs and tailor solutions.
- Act as the main contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and support.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product management, and customer success) to align sales strategies.
- Design and implement effective sales tactics to meet and exceed targets.
- Leverage market data and industry trends to refine and adapt your approach.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and emerging trends within the MSP landscape.
- Provide periodic sales forecasts and detailed reports to senior management.
- Use insights to help shape the evolution of our MSP solutions and value propositions.
Onsite Engagement:
- Travel frequently across the UK to meet customers, conduct product demonstrations, and secure new business.
- Represent ManageEngine at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales, particularly within the MSP or related IT services market.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing a sales pipeline with measurable results.
- Deep understanding of MSP market dynamics, business models, and client challenges.
- Prior experience with technologies or solutions related to network monitoring, endpoint management, and service desk operations is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage at all levels.
- Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
