The Role: Solutions Train Engineer
Join our forward-thinking BA Digital team as a Solutions Train Engineer, where you’ll provide strategic leadership across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and drive enterprise-wide transformation. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape the future of agility at British Airways, enhancing value delivery and enabling long-term strategic success.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead delivery across multiple Agile Release Trains, ensuring alignment with enterprise-level goals and strategic initiatives.
- Facilitate key enterprise events, including Portfolio PI Planning and Big Room Planning, to ensure coordinated execution and cross-team alignment.
- Optimise portfolio-level value streams by identifying systemic inefficiencies and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and Agile teams, translating high-level objectives into actionable plans.
- Establish and monitor portfolio metrics and KPIs, enabling informed, data-driven decisions.
- Inspire, mentor, and grow Agile leaders, including Senior Release Train Engineers, to build a culture of excellence and innovation.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and mentoring capabilities.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years in Agile methodologies, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
