Currently working as a teacher, support staff or leader at a school in Wales. A passion for parent participation and the relationship between school and home.

What you will do:

  • Spend approx 30mins per week leading your network in our private social community, the UK's biggest school staffroom.
  • Lead thought leadership and Wales national context around parent participation together with the charity.
  • Stimulate discussion, moderate content, celebrate achievements and support members to advance in their own parent participation.
  • Join a half-termly online 30min meeting with Chairs across the UK and the charity to align, discuss and keep on the pulse of the community.

Parentkind is the UK's largest parent charity dedicated to supporting schools in strengthening their partnership with parents. Parent-Friendly Schools, operated by Parentkind, focuses on enhancing parent participation opportunities and improving educational outcomes for children.

Role Description:

This is a remote, voluntary position that helps advance your career and our charitable cause. We are open to any school staff member and are an inclusive employer that we extend into our volunteer community.

Selection process:

UK schools staff are busy enough. So after your Easy-Apply, we will invite you to complete an informal 3min video recording in our platform to introduce yourself and tell us about your passion for parent participation. We'll then find the best fit for us and appoint.
