As People Operations Coordinator, you will be a member of our global People Operations team, supporting employees throughout their full lifecycle including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, creating and maintaining personnel records, employment changes in our Human Resource Information System (HRIS), and supporting with ad hoc people related inquiries. You will also act as a strategic partner to your People Partner colleagues in the UK, Copenhagen, Germany, and UK and you will work very closely with stakeholders in all our German group companies.
The global People Operations team supports employees across geographies, and you will be expected to lean in and support in other EMEA locations, such as Spain. You will be part of a team that is supporting and collaborating with all our Cision group offices around the world and can coordinate with the global People Operations team to enhance and optimize processes. You are detail oriented, comfortable developing relationships with relevant stakeholders, and not intimidated by systems or data, also a team player that fundamentally believes we are stronger together.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Coordination and processing of people related data and documentation related to but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, payroll, contract extensions, and benefits for the German region market.
- Organize, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of personnel records within the HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms.
- Provide a first-class level of support to employees based in Germany by managing a People team inbox and responding to employee inquiries in a timely manner.
- Work closely with our internal Payroll Manager to collate and manage accurate and timely data before the end of each monthly pay cycle.
- Engage with Talent Acquisition partners and IT to ensure procurement of IT equipment is issued for new starters in a timely fashion.
- Work with the global People Operations HRIS team to conduct mass uploads into the system as needed.
- Support the People Partners with general administration and special projects as needed.
- Liaise with the global People Operations reporting team to obtain data and insights as needed.
- Detail-oriented and have a structured approach to your daily tasks.
- Comfortable working with data, numbers and formulas within Excel, including functions like Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.
- Confident with HRIS and employee data management systems.
- Eager to work in a global team and lean in to support other employee groups as needed.
- Service-minded, problem-solving attitude to both small and big tasks.
- An effective communicator across cultures and geographies.
- Outstanding written and verbal German communication skills is a MUST.
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills is a prerequisite.
- Minimum 2-3 years prior experience in similar role or field of work.
- Excellent MS Office Suite skills and experience.
- Experience with UKG and ADP platforms is a plus.
