We are seeking an innovative and passionate Reservations & Revenue Manager to join our team at the award-winning Titanic Hotel Belfast. This individual will manage the day-to-day operations of the Reservations Department, drive revenue, achieve targets, and ensure excellent customer service for our guests. Titanic Hotel Belfast features 119 bedrooms and is located in Titanic Quarter, Belfast. The hotel has been named Northern Ireland’s Leading Hotel at The World Travel Awards for five consecutive years.
TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the Reservations Department and team, including assisting with calls and emails as needed.
- Handle all reservation inquiries and bookings promptly, providing excellent customer service.
- Oversee daily revenue management and the Reservations Team.
- Assist the Cluster Revenue Manager with revenue strategies and distribution channels, including yield and rate management.
- Review and report on daily, weekly, and monthly pick-up analysis, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Perform competitive research and analysis reports.
- Stay updated on market trends and third-party activities; manage relationships and strategies for third-party distribution channels.
- Support the Sales & Marketing Department in developing strategies across all segments, including the annual business plan.
- Assist in preparing the hotel’s annual budget and ongoing forecasts.
- Analyze and price group business in collaboration with the revenue, sales, and marketing teams to maximize conversions.
- Prepare regular reports on KPIs, including revenue segmentation, source, nationality performance, with recommendations.
- Ensure all reservation systems, including the booking engine, are correctly configured and operational.
- Follow procedures outlined in the Reservations Standards Operating Procedures.
- Ensure staff are proficient in using PMS and other reservation/revenue systems.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain effective communication with other hotel departments.
- Uphold hotel standards, comply with employee guidelines, and protect hotel assets.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
