Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a passionate and highly organised HR professional with significant experience in managing employee relations caseload. You will play a crucial role in advising and supporting our colleagues and management team on various aspects of employee relations, to ensure we adhere to legal requirements, company policies and best practices while maintaining a positive and collaborative workplace environment. Your expertise on employee relations will be instrumental in resolving conflicts, providing guidance on employment policies and processes, and promoting a culture of fairness and respect. This will be a fixed-term contract of 12 months. You will be working Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00. This will also be a hybrid role.

What you will need:
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- Previous experience working as a HR/ER Officer or Advisor
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure
- Ideally with HR Degree or CIPD qualification or working towards it
- Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
- Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
What are you going to do:
- Provide support, advice and guidance to management team in all employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievances, performance management, absence management, family rights, site removals, etc.
- Provide HR advice to management team, to enable compliance in all areas of employment policies and legislation
- Produce key HR reports, as and when required
- Ensure letters and documentation, that support processes, are produced and sent in a timely manner and recorded for future reference
- Assist and advise management team on all types of Change Management process, like TUPE, redundancy, restructure, contract variations, etc.
- Take ownership of case workload for the region, follow up with Managers on outstanding actions and ensure cases are resolved in a timely manner
- Provide ER related training to managers
- To assist with Employment Tribunal preparations
- To source and collate weekly/monthly reports and statistics
- To assist with permanent staff recruitment and with approving job adverts, for contracted employees, through the Talos360 portal
- To travel to regional offices, as and when required
- To perform ad hoc HR duties, as directed
