We are seeking a Senior HSE Advisor to join a prominent renewable energy client in the wind sector, supporting offshore HSE operations across the West Coast of the UK. This is a rotational role based in Barrow-in-Furness, providing critical safety leadership and ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and maintain a proactive and positive HSE culture across offshore wind operations.
- Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and incident/near-miss investigations; log findings in Synergi system.
- Lead and facilitate offshore emergency drills and post-exercise wash-up/lessons-learned sessions.
- Actively support and participate in toolbox talks, pre-sail briefings, and "back-to-work" safety sessions.
- Contribute to QHSE meetings and continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety legislation and internal policies.
Requirements:
- GWO offshore certification (valid and current).
- NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum; diploma-level qualifications preferred.
- Offshore HSE experience is essential.
- Strong administrative skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Effective communicator at all levels, both written and verbal.
- Proactive team player with confidence in high-pressure environments.
- Must be willing and able to work on a 7x7 day rotation based in Barrow-in-Furness.

- Start Date: ASAP / Short notice availability preferred.
- Rotation: Paid 7 days on / 7 days off.
- Contract Type: PAYE or umbrella (Inside IR35).
