Pertemps are currently recruiting for HGV C2 drivers for our public sector client to be based in the Edinburgh area supporting a busy waste and cleansing department.

Location: Edinburgh East

Hours of work: Tuesday - Friday

Rate of Pay: £15.14 per hour

Temporary ongoing work with no end date

Immediate Start

Duties to Include:

  • Driving the relevant vehicle safely around the city
  • Working as part of a team
  • Heavy lifting - moving and loading wheelie bins, assisting with special uplifts
  • Undertaking the appropriate vehicle checks and paperwork
  • Dealing with members of the public
  • Working outside in all weather

Essential requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 Driving Licence
  • Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC card)
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Maximum of 6 points on your licence

Successful candidates will:

  • Have excellent knowledge on driving around Edinburgh

  • Have previous driving experience
