Moog is a global leader in precision motion control and advanced engineering solutions. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Supplier Performance Manager (SSPM) to join our team and play a critical role in strengthening our strategic supplier relationships.

This role exists to drive urgent and tactical recovery plans for underperforming yet strategically important suppliers. As SSPM, you will lead the development and execution of turnaround strategies that directly support Moog’s global supply chain objectives. You’ll be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and implementing supplier improvement programs (SIP/JIP), while continuously monitoring supplier compliance and performance.

You will report directly to the Regional Director and coordinate regional recovery efforts, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated and progress is clearly communicated. With oversight of more than $200M in annual purchases and a team of 4+ direct reports, this role offers significant scope and influence within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and report on regional supplier recovery activities
Plan, assign, and monitor recovery resources and improvement initiatives
Act as the escalation point for supplier performance issues
Refine and enhance tools, processes, and risk mitigation strategies
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the supplier performance team
Support supplier capability assessments and ensure ongoing compliance

What We’re Looking For

BS in Engineering or equivalent experience (Master’s degree or certifications in Supply Chain, Program Management preferred)
Extensive experience in supply chain or supplier performance roles, with the ability to lead high-impact initiatives and influence at all levels, ideally in the aerospace or high-tech manufacturing sector
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Willingness to travel up to 20% to supplier and Moog locations
