Service Analyst – Configuration Rate – £400 inside IR35 Duration – 12 months Location – Gosport – Hybrid with initial on-site presence A leading consultancy are looking for a Service Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. This role includes initial time on site into Gosport. You will be involved in running the day-to-day BAU and Change Advisory Board meetings. As well as this you will look at submission coming into the team as well as triage and follow up / chase. Procurement and Software licensing tasks included. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT, Change and Administration with excellent Microsoft Office skills. Reporting to the Account Lead Configuration Manager, responsible for maintaining Information and configuration items required to deliver the IT Service, including their relationships. Manage the application configuration across multiple environments to support the project testing cycles and release. Identification and documentation of system elements, interfaces, and interdependencies. Complete Transformation Function & Physical Baseline Verification Audits as required to support the Programme. Create release and project management baselines for project teams. Update status of change requests, problem records, defect records and baselines (in Dimensions) to show that they are ready to be tested or in live, as required. Manage and review all submissions to IT Change ensuring all necessary approvals for releases are in place. Contribute to the administration of the IT Change Schedule with details of releases, and their status, maintaining RCB Metrics as appropriate. Administer the technology roadmap and proactively seek End of Life dates for products in support of the AMO office and Projects. File transfers – to support the Account by providing onsite coverage to transfer files to & from the air gapped development environment. COTS downloads – on request download commercial off the shelf software, complying to software vendor policies & rules relating to any associated licenses. Liaising with Account security team to correct governance applied prior to installation. Please note that for this position due to timeframes you will need to hold an active SC clearance.
