Changing Pathways

Minimum Requirements:

  • BACP or other governing body membership number
  • Employment history relevant to the role
  • Qualifications
  • Current clinical hours working with CYP
  • Any voluntary experience relevant to the role
  • Must have a minimum of Level 3 qualification in child counselling skills, Level 4 diploma in school-based child counselling, or post graduate diploma in counselling and psychotherapy for children and young people in schools.
  • Practical experience working with children aged 5 years and above, with a minimum of 150 hours clinical experience, potentially through volunteering or a supervised placement.
