We are currently supporting one of the UK's leading utilities providers, who are seeking a highly analytical Business Solution Architect to act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for capturing business needs, identifying solution options, and developing robust business cases—including pricing models—that support strategic decision-making and investment planning. This role plays a vital part in shaping and evaluating initiatives within a complex, safety-critical environment. Prior experience in the nuclear energy sector is essential, with a deep understanding of regulatory, operational, and commercial frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand strategic and operational objectives, pain points, and requirements.
- Elicit, document, and analyse business requirements using interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
- Translate business needs into solution designs that include workflows, system architecture, and integration points.
- Develop business cases that outline the rationale for proposed solutions, including expected benefits, risks, and return on investment.
- Create pricing models and cost estimates in collaboration with finance and delivery teams.
