Arch is a forward-thinking company that embraces collaboration and innovation to fuel our success. The world is always changing — and so are the needs of our clients — so we seek out passionate problem solvers who aren’t afraid of new challenges to help deliver the solutions that make us our customers’ first call.

Founded in 2001, we have evolved into a global leader in specialty insurance. Part of the S&P 500, we provide insurance, reinsurance and mortgage insurance on a worldwide basis, with close to 6,000 employees in more than 15 countries and growing. Our growth hasn’t changed our entrepreneurial spirit or core values. Our Purpose is still clear: We Enable Possibility so that clients, investors, employees and our communities can achieve their greatest potential.

For our employees, the possibilities are infinite. Our people are our business, and we empower employees to bring their talent, perspectives, participation and diversity of thought to all areas of the company. We believe a commitment to inclusivity helps us achieve success. A range of experience (not strictly in insurance) helps us advance a democracy of ideas that makes us a more agile, thoughtful and better company. We hire great people and support them as they develop to their full potential, and we offer a competitive salary, because we know their contributions make our company more valuable.

We strive to attract and retain top talent by offering career opportunities for growth, comprehensive benefits that allow you to thrive, and a work culture that encourages connection.

We’re often seeking talent for these roles:

  • Actuarial: We’re numbers people by nature. Our actuaries provide analytical, developmental and pricing support to a variety of functions throughout the enterprise. Examples include loss reserving, forecasting, statutory reporting, compliance, product development and pricing. Our analytics team evaluates risk in ways that help us build a stable, high-quality business. Working closely with underwriters, our analytics professionals focus on achieving better performance through data. Our finance employees are exposed to all department functions. You’ll have a high level of interaction with underwriters as well as internal and external customers. Strong communication skills are required. Help prepare accurate profit and loss summaries, balance sheet reviews, internal and external audits, forecasting or deferred acquisition cost insights and more.
  • Technology: Technology is the backbone of our business and our IT teams are true solutions-focused problem solvers. From maintaining secure networks to providing analysis of individual technical implementations or coordinating the creation, design, development and continuous improvement of software applications, technology is a fundamental function of our business. We seek creative and motivated people capable of working with complex products. Our unique underwriting platform, successful management team and strong capital base have enabled us to establish a prominent presence in the global insurance and reinsurance markets. Knowledge of actuarial modeling techniques is a bonus.

At Arch, we value our employees’ diverse skills, backgrounds and experiences that help position us as leaders in our industry and beyond. As such, we are clear and unwavering in the expectation that our people will demonstrate and support fairness, objectivity, civility, respect and inclusion at all times.

We focus on teamwork both on the job and in our communities through volunteer activities and giving that strives to make a difference. We seek to put people first and support business-focused Employee Networks to encourage connection and awareness with people and allies in the community and to further our diversity and inclusion strategy.
