Futures recruitment are looking to appoint a Hydraulics fitter for a well-known manufacturing business in South Yorkshire. The successful Hydraulics fitter will assemble and carry out testing for their diverse hydraulics focused product range.
The appointed Hydraulics Fitter will have an engineering qualification, at least two years post qualification work experience, an analytical mind, be confident carrying out assembly activities and have some exposure to testing. You will be joining a successful business with excellent progression prospects and a market leading benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- To assemble hydraulics equipment
- Follow engineering drawings for multiple different products
- Maintain and inspect any test equipment used to ensure it is in calibration and also in full working condition
- Assemble prototype / pre-production units for the use of verifying a concept / design
Qualifications:
- Good working knowledge of electro-mechanical hydraulics equipment
- HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a practical engineering role post qualification
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated with good practical skills/knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail
