The Opportunity: My client is a leading telecommunications company currently looking for a Wayleave Manager on a permanent basis to lead and manage the wayleave team, ensuring the timely and efficient acquisition of permissions and agreements to support network build projects. This role demands strong organisational skills, an ability to manage workload and deadlines effectively, and a proven aptitude for negotiating complex agreements while maintaining stakeholder relationships.

Skills and Experience:

  • Track record of negotiating and finalising agreements with diverse stakeholders, including landowners, local authorities, and housing associations.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in wayleave, land and property rights, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and workloads effectively to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, especially in high-pressure or contentious scenarios.
  • Resilience and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
  • Familiarity with GIS tools or mapping software, such as Nimbus Maps.

Responsibilities:
