We are seeking a skilled Robot Weld Programmer/operator to join our team based at Blackwater. As a Robot Weld Programmer, you will be responsible for setting up and operating robotic welding machines to produce a variety of fabricated components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programme, operate and maintain robotic welding machines
- Inspect and ensure weld quality
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment and processes
- Train and assist other operators in robotic welding
- Test and validate robot programmes to ensure proper functionality and performance
- Identify and resolve programming issues
Requirements:
- Previous experience in robotic welding or a related field
- 2+ years MIG experience (a weld test will be carried out on interview)
- Experience working with various thickness materials
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- The ability to hit deadlines and achieve daily production schedules
- Must be able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, and be physically able to cope with typical factory duties including manual handling loads
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment
- Assist with other duties as and when required
