Are you ready to shape the future of home insurance claims? We’re seeking an exceptional leader to join our Household team as Head of Household Claims. With circa 2 million customers and over 12 years of success, we are enthusiastic about our growth, and this is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving outstanding results.

Reporting directly to the Head of Household, you will guide a dynamic department of over 400 people, steering performance through in-house teams and outsourced supplier relationships. Together, we’ll create a best in market claims operation that delivers amazing value and service to our customers.

As Head of Household Claims, you will:

Shape the Strategy: Define and implement the vision for our Claims department.

Customer Service Advocate: Enhance our service through telephony and increasingly digital channels, ensuring an exceptional experience.

Drive Results: Manage budgets, set aspiring targets, and continue to develop a market leading claims ratio.

Partner Effectively: Build strong third-party partnerships focused on continuous improvement.

Foster Innovation: Cultivate a “test and learn” culture, using data-directed insights to improve performance.

Prepare for Difficulties: Develop plans to support customers and protect business outcomes during large weather events.

Stay Ahead of Trends: Monitor market trends, consumer behaviours, and best practices to unlock new opportunities for Admiral.

Lead and Inspire: Set clear goals, drive performance, and ensure robust and diverse succession planning.

Manage Risks: Identify, manage, and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal stakeholders within Household and the wider business.

Proven experience in guiding and motivating high-performing and largescale Household claims teams.

Expertise in the home insurance claims market, able to shape and execute an innovative strategy to drive commercial success.

A track record of driving efficiencies and improvements
