Maryland Dental Care is now hiring a Full Time Dental Hygienist in Nottingham, Maryland! This is an amazing opportunity for a personal and professional Full Time Dental Hygienist to join our team and collaborate for services across both practices.
Full Time Dental Hygienist Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday 7:45am - 5:00pm and Friday 7:45am - 3:00pm (1 hour lunch on Tuesday and Thursday). Flexibility to start with 2 days if needed, but including Friday would be preferred!

Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience
- Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
- Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care
- Reviewing patient's history and charting
- Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
- Documents area of existing restorations
- Use of X-ray
- Support the dentist with procedures as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Maryland
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Current BLS/CPR certifications
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
- 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience preferred - new grads are welcome to apply!
- Knowledgeable about perio health, comfortable with patient education, and competent with gum therapy
- Experience with dental practice software
