We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Salesforce Tester to join our QA team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce testing and a strong understanding of quality assurance practices in Agile environments. Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes is essential for continuous integration and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end manual and automated testing of Salesforce applications.
- Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for Salesforce solutions (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.).
- Ensure test coverage for customizations, integrations, and standard Salesforce functionality.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Validate data integrity and workflows within Salesforce.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Leverage DevOps tools to support automated deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Tester or QA Engineer with Salesforce platform exposure.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, objects, fields, workflows, and triggers.
- Experience with QA methodologies and best practices in Agile delivery.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
