About the Role: Vercel is seeking a highly technical and sales-oriented Pro Executive to support our Pro customers throughout their lifecycle. This unique role combines elements of Account Executive, SDR, CS Representative, and Sales Engineer positions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about web technologies, deeply versed in Next.js and Vercel's offerings, and have a strong background in technical sales.
What You Will Do:
- Optimize configurations for Pro customers to ensure they’re getting the most out of Vercel's platform
- Recommend changes to improve site performance and overall user experience
- Position and articulate the benefits of different Vercel plans and products to drive expansion and adoption
- Introduce and coordinate with other internal Vercel resources where relevant to support customer success
- Provide exceptional technical guidance and support throughout the customer lifecycle
- Act as a bridge between Pro customers and Vercel's product team, gathering feedback and insights
About You:
- Deep technical understanding of web technologies, particularly Next.js and Vercel's platform
- 3+ years of experience in a technical, sales, or customer support role for a technical product
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Passion for web development and staying current with the latest trends and technologies
Bonus If You:
- Have hands-on experience with web development using Next.js
- Familiarity with other frontend frameworks and static site generators
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and serverless technologies
- Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
