An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Quality Manager to join a heavy manufacturing business, based at a key site in the Northwest. This role focuses on managing inspection teams and ensuring compliance with quality standards, delivering excellence across a wide range of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage QA and QC inspection personnel in alignment with Group quality standards
- Investigate non-conformances and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Compile and manage quality documentation in accordance with client specifications and codes
- Conduct external audits on subcontractors and write inspection testing procedures for projects
- Liaise with client representatives and perform on-site quality inspections as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as Quality Manager
- Experience within Manufacturing with knowledge of Welding processes
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 3834 & EN 1090 desirable
- Strong leadership skills
Location: Wigan
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £55k - £62k (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Full Time – Monday – Friday (early finish Fri)
