We’re looking for a Senior .NET Developer, to be a core part of one our cross functional teams. Each of our cross-functional teams owns a series of platforms, from development and infrastructure through to ongoing support, so you’ll be a key part of delivering features, enhancements, and general tech related updates (mostly recently updating to .NET Core) within the team. In addition, our teams maintain their own pipelines and infrastructure using IaC best practices. You’ll be working in an agile team, supporting and mentoring the team in design, development and making high level technical decisions, whilst also working with Product Owners, developers, and external stakeholders to define and work towards achievable goals.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing:

  • Building .NET Core applications
  • Migrating legacy applications to .NET Core (Ruby and / or VB experience would be an advantage but not required)
  • Working towards a service driven architecture
  • Working with programs such as .Net Core/APIs/MySQL
  • Building and Deploying to Azure
  • Maintaining secure and resilient Azure Infrastructure
  • Delivering clean, maintainable and secure code
  • Pushing for the highest standard of code from yourself and the rest of the team
  • Supporting the team to progress as individuals but also towards team goals
  • Working closely with business stakeholders
  • Working with the UI Developers to deliver a complete solution
  • Drive ongoing technical advancements from inception to production
  • Delivering in a CI/CD environment
  • Designing and interacting with Restful APIs and data stores

A Few Things About You:

  • Proven experience building Web based .NET Solutions
  • Experience with Git, GitHub/Azure Dev ops
  • Familiarity with agile environments
  • Experience/knowledge of developing for the cloud
  • Experience with CI and Automation tools
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Be able to communicate well with technical and non-technical people
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Preferred knowledge of Azure PaaS services
  • Experience with modern Frontend technologies React/Vue desirable but not essential
  • Experience in TDD desirable but not essential
