Overview: First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis based at one of their depots in Telford. Although there will be an element of hybrid working too.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Production of timely and technically accurate contract or site accounts, budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans including variance analysis
- Business Partner with the operational teams holding them to account with their forecasts and budgets
- Support the operational teams with analysis and insight
- Providing and managing any contractual financial information
- Production and quarterly revenue forecasting
Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in the use of Microsoft Office 2010 suite of applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills particularly communication at senior levels and with the ability to clearly communicate financial information to non-Finance managers and staff
- Up to date knowledge of Financial Accounting framework and that of the Regulating Bodies
- Ability to provide added value analytical information to support the decision-making process of the business
- Recognised professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS) or equivalent / similar
