Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for an exciting opportunity? Join this stable, independent concrete supplier and become a key member of the HR team. As the HR Advisor , your primary focus will be supporting internal managers in effectively handling employee relations. Working Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, out of the Stowmarket based Head Office. Competitive salary from GBP30,000 to GBP35,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Company Pension Scheme 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Death In Service Benefit (after successful probation) Training and Staff Development Employee Referral Programme Skills and Requirements: Proven experience as a HR Advisor in an ER-focused HR role. Strong understanding of employment law and best practice in employee relations. Experience in managing complex ER cases with confidence and professionalism. Demonstrated ability to work on HR projects, driving positive change in the business. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively. Strong communication skills with a proactive and solution-focused mindset. CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is desirable but not essential. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert advice and guidance on complex ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues. Support line managers in handling employee relations effectively and in line with company policies and employment law. Manage and resolve cases proactively, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes while mitigating risk. Lead and contribute to HR projects, such as policy development, employee engagement initiatives, and process improvements. Support organisational change, including restructures, redundancies, and TUPE processes. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, coaching and upskilling managers in HR best practice.
