Your role in the team

Allstate has diversified into Finance and Accountancy with a selection of exciting roles, and we are seeking the best people with the freshest ideas to join our team.

We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to support our growing financial footprint.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timely closing of the general ledger and assist in the financial reporting efforts of the accounting team. In addition, the Accounting Consultant will ensure financial accounts are reconciled and issues resolved timely enabling accurate financial reporting.

This position is critical to the overall control environment of the Company.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare quarterly reporting deliverables, adhering to strict deadlines and maintaining a robust control structureEvaluate reported results and storyline variances to actual and plan periods, including investigation of fluctuations in trendsInnovate and collaborate with wider team, US and NI basedProactively identify opportunities for improvement and take initiative to implement solutionsSolve complex problems through innovative thinking and independent decision making

Essential Skills

A minimum of 3 years\’ experience in a Finance/Accountancy rolePrevious experience in an analytical roleA minimum of 1 years\’ experience with Data Visualization tools, such as PowerBI or TableauA minimum of 1 years\’ experience with SQLA minimum of 2 years\’ experience with MS Office Suite with strong Excel formula experience (pivot tables, v-lookups etc.)All applicants must demonstrate they have a legal right to work in the UK for employment at Allstate. Desirable Skills:

Good knowledge of control environments and SOXWorking knowledge of SAP
