Position
- Location: Remote-based with learner observations in Essex
- Hours: 36.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
- Salary: Up to £32,000 (depending on experience)
If you have experience in delivering innovative, impactful, and engaging remote sessions, combined with a strong background in the Early Years Sector and Teaching Assistant at a senior or managerial level, we’d love to hear from you!
As a Personal Tutor, you will support a dedicated caseload of learners, delivering outstanding teaching that enhances their experience within our recently introduced Elevate Programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire and Motivate: Engage, motivate, and inspire learners to achieve their work-based qualifications, driving them to reach their full potential.
- Stretch and Challenge: Provide personalized, insightful feedback that stretches and challenges learners, enabling their continuous professional development.
- Build Strong Relationships: Nurture and maintain strong relationships with both learners and employer partners, ensuring a collaborative approach to learning.
- Support Learner Progress: Use our advanced LMS system (BUD) to monitor learner progress and ensure all learners receive the appropriate support, including functional skills or additional learning assistance as needed.
- Elevate Programme Advocacy: Champion the use of Elevate Workshops, ensuring that learners are engaged and empowered.
- Data and Compliance: Adhere to GDPR regulations and our internal data security policies to protect learner information.
Requirements
- Teaching Qualification: AET, PTTLS, CET, Cert Ed, PGCE, or equivalent
- Qualifications in Early Years/Teaching Assistant: Level 3 or above
- Occupational Competency: Extensive experience at a senior level within the Early Years sector
- Teaching Experience: Proven track record of delivering outstanding teaching and learning
- EPA Knowledge: Familiarity with End-Point Assessments (EPA)
- Travel Commitment: Ability to travel for in-person learner observations in and around Essex
