Are you a SharePoint expert with a passion for designing elegant, scalable solutions and leading seamless migrations? We’re looking for a SharePoint Specialist/Consultant to join a high-impact transformation project within a respected Financial Services organisation.
In this key role, you’ll play a central part in the delivery of an Information and Records Management transformation, with SharePoint at the heart of the solution.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Lead and execute the migration of content from Azure storage and network drives into SharePoint Online.
- Design and develop SharePoint architecture, taxonomy, and structure aligned to organisational needs.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into functional SharePoint solutions.
- Provide training and support to users, ensuring adoption and long-term sustainability of the platform.
- Act as the SharePoint SME, offering guidance, documentation, and troubleshooting expertise.
- Support integration and usage of Microsoft 365 tools including Teams, Forms, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Azure Virtual Machines.
- Identify and resolve file issues, link remediation, and data anomalies during migration.
- Use tools such as Microsoft Purview, AIM DataBelt, or eDiscovery platforms to enhance records management.
- Proven track record in SharePoint development and migration, especially SharePoint Online (O365).
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, best practices, and M365/Entra ID ecosystem.
- Experience managing the full SharePoint project lifecycle, from planning to post-deployment support.
- Ability to assess and select the right tools for migration, ensuring data integrity and user accessibility.
- Experience with Azure storage and VMs, and handling large-scale content moves.
- Clear, confident communication skills, with the ability to engage non-technical users and translate complex ideas.
- A collaborative mindset – able to work closely with business analysts, IT teams, and end users.
- Relevant certifications and a degree or equivalent in IT or related fields.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview, AIM DataBelt, or eDiscovery tools for records management.
