Senior Equity Research Analyst

Our client, a boutique, well-established investment firm, is seeking to hire a Senior Equity Research Analyst. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a firm that follows an entrepreneurial, open and friendly approach. The successful candidate will join a small, experienced investment team that manages a global unconstrained equity fund.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct analysis of specific companies and industries to generate investment ideas
2. Build financial models, develop operating & financial forecasts and assess company’s valuation and risks
3. Discuss investment recommendations with the wider team
4. Produce investment memorandums and presentations
5. Keep research up-to-date for companies already in the portfolios
6. Share market insights and contribute positively to investment debates

Candidate Profile:

1. Minimum 10-15 years’ experience working for a top tier buy-side or sell-side institution
2. Strong academic credentials
3. Excellent financial modelling skills
4. Demonstrated passion for investing
5. Intellectually curious, a self-starter and a desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders both internally and externally from all levels through to the CEO
7. Strong team player
