Who we are looking for
A Senior End User Technology Engineer, who will use strong technical expertise to ensure delivery of innovative solutions, whilst leveraging leadership experience to drive a high-performance culture.
Working within the deployment and endpoint management team, you will lead the design, configuration and management of desktop infrastructure, both on-premises and Cloud. You will play a key role in ensuring platforms and services remain operational, secure and compliant to support a 365 day a year Business.
You will provide 3rd line maintenance and support for a global desktop infrastructure, keeping endpoints up-to-date and addressing vulnerabilities and security risks, whilst identifying future technology opportunities.
As a leader with strong technical expertise, you will be capable of delivering complex work packages whilst providing regular updates. You will oversee escalated technical issues, ensuring prompt service restoration and ongoing team development.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Preferred skills and experience
- Extensive experience with desktop infrastructure management across Windows, Mac and Linux platforms.
- Strong expertise in Group Policy Object (GPO) management and troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of OS deployment methodologies, such as MDT, SCCM or Intune.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex 3rd line technical issues.
- Technical experience in supporting a MacOS and iOS estate (Jamf).
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes, particularly in incident, problem and change management.
- Familiarity with PowerShell or scripting for automation and reporting tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive in identifying, mitigating and resolving risks across desktop environments.

- Developing and maintaining internal knowledge documentation.

- Ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational procedures.
- Conducting regular assessments of technical skills within the team.
- Supporting the implementation of new technologies and tools.
- Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team.
