We are seeking a Claims Handler to join our market-leading, lawyer-led claims handling service within our CSG team.
This position is based in Newport. Initially, you will be required to attend the office 5 days a week during your probation period, followed by a flexible hybrid working pattern.
Role Responsibilities
- Providing a professional, timely, and high-quality service in managing claims.
- Managing a varied caseload of volume pre-litigated work.
- Assessing claims to determine fault and appropriate compensation within authority limits.
- Resolving claims through negotiation and litigation, ensuring adherence to client service standards.
- Maintaining proactive communication with clients and their customers, managing expectations.
- Meeting individual performance metrics related to quality and financial targets.
- Upholding the DAC Beachcroft brand and standards.
Candidate Profile
Prior experience as a Claims Handler or legal qualification is not required. We welcome applicants with customer service, retail experience, school leavers, or graduates who are team players and eager to learn.
