We are working with the UK's leading manufacturer of premier car transporters, at a purpose-built, eco-powered facility in Gosfield, near Braintree in Essex. We're on the lookout for a skilled or developing Welder/Fabricators to join their dedicated team.
The Role: As a Welder/Fabricator, you'll be an integral part of the body-build team, working independently or in pairs under the guidance of the Welding/Fabrication Supervisor. You'll fabricate and MIG weld key structures of our industry-leading car transporters. The hours of work are 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 1.30pm on Fridays.

What We're Looking For:
- MIG welding experience (training can be provided for the right candidate)
- Ability to work from technical drawings (desirable)
- Self-motivated with good organisational and time management skills
- Strong team player with a can-do attitude and problem-solving mindset
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
Key Responsibilities:
- MIG welding of materials (5mm+), including positional welding
- Fabrication of key components for the body-build
- Reading and interpreting CAD drawings
- Maintaining welding equipment and PPE
- Working safely in line with company HSEQ policies
- Supporting production targets by working efficiently and to standard
