Welder Fabricator – Up to 16ph – Overtime x1.5 – Neat Halstead We are working with the UK\’s leading manufacturer of premier car transporters, at a purpose-built, eco-powered facility in Gosfield, near Braintree in Essex. We\’re on the lookout for a skilled or developing Welder/Fabricators to join their dedicated team. The Role: As a Welder/Fabricator, you\’ll be an integral part of the body-build team, working independently or in pairs under the guidance of the Welding/Fabrication Supervisor. You\’ll fabricate and MIG weld key structures of our industry-leading car transporters. The hours of work are 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 1.30pm on Fridays. What You\’ll Get: Monthly employee raffle Biannual vouchers Quarterly food events Free onsite parking Onsite electric car charging All PPE provided – including high-spec air-fed welding helmet What We\’re Looking For: MIG welding experience (training can be provided for the right candidate) Ability to work from technical drawings (desirable) Self-motivated with good organisational and time management skills Strong team player with a can-do attitude and problem-solving mindset Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship Key Responsibilities: MIG welding of materials (5mm+), including positional welding Fabrication of key components for the body-build Reading and interpreting CAD drawings Maintaining welding equipment and PPE Working safely in line with company HSEQ policies Supporting production targets by working efficiently and to standard This is a permanent role subject to you passing a 13 week probation.
