As an Employment Consultant, you will support clients in enrolling on Twin's employability and skills programmes, offering motivational guidance to build strong, positive relationships. You will inspire, challenge, and encourage individuals in achieving their career goals. You will possess outstanding customer service skills, be target-driven, and serve as a motivational adviser. You should demonstrate initiative, resilience, and the ability to solve problems independently while working under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet, and strive to exceed, personal performance targets (Key Performance Indicators).
- Progressively manage a caseload of referred customers using a variety of appropriate strategies to help them overcome barriers to gaining employment.
- Co-produce personalised Learning Plans featuring SMART targeting to enable positive and timely progression.
- Fully understand the local labour market to source suitable job opportunities.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders to maximise job opportunities.
- Develop an understanding of specialist signposting services in the local area/region, building knowledge in areas such as specific disabilities, housing, benefits etc.
Skills & Experience:
- Essential Experience in an advisory or employability-focused role is essential.
- A good working knowledge of the local labour market in the specified geographical locations.
- Experience in supporting and coaching individuals to achieve their goals.
- Experience of working in a target-driven environment.
- Desirable Knowledge of the employability industry.
- Knowledge of the recruitment industry.
- Experience of working with people in the provision of ‘information, advice & guidance’.
- Full driving licence to enable deployment across a specified geographical area (region), when required.
