ESG Project Manager | £450/day (Outside IR35) | 12 Months | Macclesfield (3 Days Onsite)

A UK-leading pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced ESG Project Manager to drive strategic sustainability and governance initiatives across a global enterprise.

This is a high-impact, visible role focused on delivering ESG-related projects that enhance the company’s environmental performance, social responsibility, and governance standards.

Your Mission:

Lead transformational ESG programmes—ranging from smart metering and resource optimisation to governance process enhancement—ensuring measurable impact across internal operations and external partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver enterprise-level ESG projects aligned with sustainability goals
• Own and optimise core ESG processes using a Business Process Management (BPM) framework
• Collaborate across business functions and influence senior stakeholders
• Ensure regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and value realisation across initiatives

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 3–5+ years\’ experience in project management, with a focus on ESG or sustainability
• Proven success delivering large-scale ESG or sustainability projects
• Experience within large/global organisations
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Contract Details:

• Rate: £450 per day (Outside IR35)
• Duration: 12 Months
• Location: Macclesfield (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
