Crown Oil Environmental is hiring a Forecourt Pipefitter specialising in Fuel Tank Systems. In this role, you will ensure the safety and efficiency of fuel tank installations and maintenance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems for fuel storage and distribution while adhering to regulatory standards.
- Inspecting fuel pipe systems for defects or leaks and making necessary repairs.
- Performing routine maintenance on fuel tank systems, including cleaning and lubricating components.
- Testing fuel tank and pipework systems for proper functioning and safety.
- Collaborating with engineers and project managers to plan and execute fuel tank system installations and upgrades.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with forecourt tank systems and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Adhering to safety protocols and regulations ensuring a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a pipefitter, specifically with fuel tank systems.
- Certification or equivalent training in pipefitting and welding.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools related to pipefitting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Desirable accreditations include Confined Space, IPAF, PASMA, and (SPA) Petrol Safety Passport.
- A driving license and CSCS card are essential to be considered.
