We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Care Club Manager to lead our well-established before and after-school provision at a friendly and inclusive primary school located in the heart of Denton. The required working hours are Morning 7.15 am to 9.15 am and Afternoon 3.00 pm to 5.30 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Care Club, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment
- Plan and deliver a variety of age-appropriate activities that promote children’s development and wellbeing
- Supervise and support a small team of playworkers, ensuring high standards of care and professionalism
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and school policies
- Manage club resources, snacks, and administrative duties efficiently
Person Specification
- Experience working with children in a childcare, playwork, or educational setting
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare, playwork, or equivalent (or willingness to work towards one)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A caring, proactive, and reliable approach
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
