Our client, a long-established firm of Accountants based in Sandwich, is seeking a dedicated and ambitious individual to join their team.
Requirements:
- Good academic background with a willingness to learn new skills and grow in your role.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Minimum of two years' experience in an accountancy practice.
- Part-qualified or fully qualified candidates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of sole trader, partnership, and limited company accounts.
- Preparation of personal, partnership, and corporation tax returns.
- Preparation of VAT and CIS returns, along with processing payroll and pensions as required.
- Utilisation of software packages such as Xero, Sage 50, and VT.
- Experience with BTC Practice Software is advantageous, but training will be provided.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Correspondence with clients and agencies such as HMRC.
- Knowledge of UK GAAP, ideally with an understanding of FRS102 and FRS105.
- Work as an effective team member to ensure all client deadlines and requirements are met.
