I am currently looking to recruit an experienced Chef Manager for an independent school based in Welwyn Garden City. My client is one of the leading independent Education Caterers and are recruiting for a lovely day school. The kitchen caters for close to 450 covers daily.
As the Chef Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 10 staff ensuring training, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs. You will also be involved with school events as well as liaising with parents and teachers.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/knowledge:
- Currently at Chef Manager level
- Have a proven background within education catering
- A strong understanding of all Food Hygiene/Health & Safety procedures
- Willing to be involved in school activities and a strong background in events/hospitality
- Hold a current DBS
- Working Monday to Friday
