Assistant Centre Admissions Manager

40 hours per week, 52 weeks

Salary : £28,350 to £29,580

Based at Glasshouse College, Stourbridge, with regular travel to Argent College, Birmingham.

The Assistant Centre Admissions Manager will support the Head of Admissions and Student Experience in providing a vital function as point of contact for each individual or family in relation to the entry of new students into the College.

A crucial part of this role is in relationship management and liaison, marketing, events, promotion, and administrative support, therefore the ideal candidate would have skills and experience in these areas and be able to manage projects and process large volumes of data entry. The candidate must be a car driver with their own vehicle, have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work diligently in a fast-paced environment.

Main duties will include:

• Assisting with the college admissions process;

• Co-ordination of admissions visits and assessments;

• Conducting tours and visits by prospective students, parents/carers and other stakeholders;

• Registration of new students;

• Attending and assisting with events eg. open morning/evenings, feeder school liaison and marketing

events;

• Data entry and producing admissions records and reports;

Experience in working in admissions in a post-16 setting and/or with young people with SEND is desirable, but not essential.
