Interim Digital Transformation DirectorLocation: London-based with international scopeA leading global financial services group is seeking an Interim Digital Transformation Director to lead a major change initiative across its client servicing and operations functions. This is a senior appointment within a high-profile transformation programme, focused on delivering AI-enabled, digital-first service models at scale across multiple markets.Operating at Group level and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will drive the end-to-end transformation of operational servicing, embedding intelligent automation and reimagining the client experience. This is a critical interim leadership role with immediate impact, long-term strategic value, and visibility at the most senior levels of the organisation.The OpportunityThis appointment will suit a transformation leader with a strong blend of operational depth, technology fluency, and commercial pragmatism. You will be responsible for shaping and executing a global transformation roadmap that modernises infrastructure, simplifies operating models, and unlocks data-led decision-making across a highly regulated, client-centric environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and delivery of a comprehensive digital transformation strategy across client operations, aligned with enterprise objectivesDefine future-state operating models, underpinned by AI, automation, and data analytics to enhance service delivery and operational agilityDevelop robust governance, KPIs, and delivery frameworks to ensure execution at pace and measurable return on investmentServe as a strategic partner to the C-suite, securing alignment, sponsorship, and funding for transformation prioritiesDrive process reengineering across global servicing functions, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and client valueBuild and lead high-performing, cross-functional transformation teams, fostering a culture of innovation and accountabilityOversee change management, communications, and stakeholder engagement to support adoption of new ways of workingChampion the voice of the client throughout transformation efforts, embedding digital-first journeys and intelligent self-service modelsLeverage performance data to drive continuous improvement and measure business impactCandidate ProfileExtensive leadership experience in operational transformation within complex, regulated environments: ideally financial servicesProven track record in delivering major change programmes that span technology, operations, and customer experienceDeep knowledge of AI, automation, and digital tools as they apply to operations and client servicingCommercially minded, with strong financial acumen and experience building business cases at enterprise levelExceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at Executive Committee and Board levelInspirational leadership style with experience building and scaling diverse, high-performing teamsHighly resilient, delivery-focused, and comfortable operating in ambiguity and at paceEngagement DetailsThis is an interim executive assignment, requiring immediate availability.
