Public Affairs: Political Senior Consultant – Labour Credentials NEW Political Senior Consultant: Labour Credentials My client, a leading public affairs and communications consultancy is looking for a senior political professional to strengthen its political expertise. They are looking at an Account Director, Senior Account Director or Associate Director. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile public affairs projects and engage with stakeholders across the UK political landscape. You must have strong Labour political connections in order to be considered for this role, as well as experience working on political campaigns, and having significant political networking experience. Level: Account Director (will also look at more senior SAD/Associate Director) Location: Central London (4-5 days in the office) Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 for AD/SAD. Can discuss higher if ASD level. (flexible based on experience). Key Responsibilities: Deliver strategic public affairs advice, leveraging strong political expertise and connections. Build and maintain relationships with political stakeholders, particularly within the Labour Party. Manage client accounts, ensuring high-quality service and outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team working across public affairs, communications, and planning. Ideal Candidate: Strong political connections, particularly within the Labour Party. Relevant experience, such as working as an MP advisor, on political campaigns, or in similar roles. Demonstrated success in public affairs, ideally at Account Director level. Personable, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
