About the Role
One to One Personnel is proud to partner with a leading industry name. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented finance professional with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to credit control and sales ledger management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous credit control and sales ledger experience
- Fully or partly qualified in AAT or CICIM
- Advanced skills in spreadsheets and ERP software
- 4+ years of UK-based professional experience
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with customers via phone, email, or letter to collect debts and provide support
- Recording and allocating payments against invoices and credit notes
- Communicating with agents, salespeople, and customers on debt-related matters
- Checking credit insurance coverage and updating schedules
- Collaborating with warehouse on customer queries and resolving issues
- Monitoring customer portals and credit limits
- Managing invoices on Infor Nexus (Online Platform) and following up with international customers
- Handling Letters of Credit (LCs) and Bank Guarantees (BGs)
- Responding to credit control, finance, and customer queries
- Supporting key account management for house accounts
- Maintaining ERP system (STYLEman) housekeeping
- Updating debtor lists, monthly reports, and sales ledger journals
- Reviewing sales ledger and reporting to management
- Managing month-end procedures and ad hoc reports
Additional Responsibilities
- Updating ERP (STYLEman) and accounting system (Open Accounts), including reconciliations
- Preparing aged debt reports and customer statements
- Assisting with statutory auditor reports
- Preparing weekly/monthly debtors control accounts
Requirements
- Accountancy qualification (AAT, CICIM, or equivalent)
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
- Experience with ERP software
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills
