Role Overview:
You’ll be responsible for managing multiple office and industrial refurbishment and fit-out projects, typically valued between £350k and £3m+. Your role will involve overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from inception to handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You’ll work closely with site managers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve challenges and keep everything on track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Liaise with clients and subcontractors to meet specifications and deadlines.
- Conduct site visits and prioritize tasks within the overall project plan.
- Oversee RAMS and ISO9001:2015 Quality Management standards to ensure compliance.
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocation.
- Provide regular updates to the office team and ensure smooth coordination across all sites.
- Take a proactive approach in identifying and solving problems as they arise.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience managing commercial office and industrial refurbishment projects.
- Familiarity with Cat A and Cat B projects valued between £350k and £3m+.
- Understanding of construction phase plans, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of stakeholders.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Excel.
- SMSTS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, and a Black CSCS card.
- A relevant qualification (NVQ or equivalent) is a plus.
