This is an exciting opportunity to support major contracts and deliver critical roles across airport operations and support services.
What’s on offer:
- Hours: 08:30 am-17:00 pm
- Days: Monday – Friday (Office based)
- Location: Didsbury, Manchester
- Salary: £35,000 per annum

Role Overview: As the sole operator of the Northern branch, you will be responsible for managing and growing the branch independently — combining business development, client management, and full-cycle recruitment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, takes initiative, and is ready to build a successful branch from the ground up while delivering directly to critical client contracts within airport operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the Northern branch, including strategy, performance, and client delivery.
- Personally manage the end-to-end recruitment process for both volume and specialist roles within aviation and airport services.
- Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Develop new business opportunities through networking, relationship-building, and market insight.
- Attend client meetings, briefings, and site visits to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment regulations and vetting standards.
- Monitor performance metrics and reporting, identifying opportunities to optimise delivery and outcomes.
- Work closely with Optime's senior leadership to align regional activity with national objectives.
About You:
- Proven experience in a recruitment role, ideally within aviation, logistics, or high-compliance sectors.
- Strong client engagement and account management skills.
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the ability to operate independently.
- Experience in successfully filling high-volume or specialist placements.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commercially astute, with a drive to grow revenue and expand services in the region.
- Knowledge of compliance and vetting processes in regulated environments.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred, due to travel to client sites).
