Role Overview: The main focus of this role is to ensure that Airbus in-orbit Spacecraft Payload activities are conducted safely to maximize the spacecraft's useful life. The role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with some UK and European travel potentially required.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring of spacecraft payload subsystems.
- Providing trend analysis data and reports.
- Supporting on-station and prospective operations.
- Collaborating with design and operations teams to optimize spacecraft operations.
- Monitoring new spacecraft during various phases.
- Supporting testing and reporting activities.
- Providing expertise in payload and RF systems for bids and projects.
Candidate Requirements:
- BEng in Communications Engineering, Physics, Maths, or equivalent.
- Experience in Payload Engineering covering UHF, SHF, and Ka wavebands and relevant hardware.
