We are recruiting for a part time coach (21-30 hours a week) to join our team. Base 13 is a small group personal training studio based in Lewisham, South East London. At Base 13, our passion is to help our members feel, move and look better. We are more than just a gym; we believe that a community built on like-mindedness, motivation, encouragement and shared experience is essential to achieving goals. Our model runs a variety of sessions from small group personal training, classes to 121 coaching.

ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Base 13 Coach you’ll work closely with the team and be at the forefront of delivering an exceptional service, experience and results for our clients. Fully salaried holiday and sick pay. Progression pathway.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Someone who has experience working (or interning) as a strength and conditioning coach or personal trainer and is qualified with a sports science degree, PT level 3 or other similar qualification.
  • Experience with weightlifting / S&C/ functional fitness/ CrossFit is necessary.
  • CF level 1 and/or BWL qualification is favourable.
  • You must love training and nutrition.
  • Have a passion for helping people.
  • Have a desire to develop and get better.
  • Be hard working and enthusiastic.
  • Be willing to learn from experienced coaches.
  • Want to become an awesome coach.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team.
  • Be well organised and punctual.
  • Want to build a career in the fitness industry.
  • Be flexible with when you can work.
  • Be prepared for early starts, late finishes and working weekends.
