Join Our Supply Chain Team at The Compleat Food Group. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team in Crewe. This is a key role at the heart of our operations, where you'll take ownership of the entire supply chain process, from sourcing raw materials to ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality finished products.
A major focus will be on logistics and fleet management, overseeing transport, distribution, and warehousing to ensure goods move smoothly, safely, and on time. You'll also manage our fleet operations to maximise efficiency, compliance, and service levels. Additionally, you'll be responsible for labour and revenue budgets, planning, supplier performance, and driving continuous improvement across all areas. Your leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities will be essential in keeping our supply chain agile, cost-effective, and aligned with business and customer needs.

Your Duties Will Include:
- Creating KPIs to assess the performance of your functions
- Reviewing KPIs and performance metrics
- Managing your teamβs performance and development
- Implementing system improvements to streamline processes and reduce costs
- Attending meetings to stay aligned with business goals
- Managing projects to drive success
- Maintaining correct stock levels of raw materials and packaging
- Ensuring accurate documentation of supply chain movements
- Collaborating with Group Supply Chain for operational efficiency
- Ensuring resource availability to meet responsibilities
- Supporting additional tasks as assigned by your manager
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in food industry supply chain management
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in supply chain software
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of UK food regulations and industry best practices
