Ty Hafan is a beautiful children's hospice located on the picturesque Vale of Glamorgan coastline. Covering the South, East, and West of Wales, Ty Hafan offers a beautiful, newly refurbished working environment set in idyllic grounds a short distance from the metropolitan area of Cardiff.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Bank as a Healthcare Support Worker in our highly experienced care team. We are looking for dedicated healthcare professionals with a passion for providing holistic family-centred care to a caseload of very special and inspiring children, young people, and their families.
As a Ty Hafan Bank Healthcare Support Worker, you will participate in a full range of delegated duties, giving plenty of opportunity to develop your career in Healthcare. About the role: As a Bank Healthcare Support Worker, your responsibility will be to contribute to delivering safe and supportive care to children resident in the hospice, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care. Tasks will be delegated by a Registered Nurse, in consideration of your level of skill and confidence. You will be responsible for providing care in line with our individualised care plans, designed by Registered Nurses in compliance with current guidelines, regulations, and policies.
