£12.21 per hour | Temp-to-Perm | Full-Time (40 hrs/week) Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:30 | On-site Parking | Immediate Start Are you a hands-on, enthusiastic individual with great customer service skills and a can-do attitude? Our client who is a trusted name in carpet distribution for over 20 years – is looking for a Trade Counter Assistant to join their friendly team in Fareham. What You’ll Be Doing: Acting as the first point of contact for visiting tradespeople – handling enquiries, complaints, orders, and collections. Taking phone calls and responding to customer emails. Picking and processing orders – working closely with the warehouse team Supporting day-to-day operations at the trade counter. What We’re Looking For: Someone reliable, enthusiastic , and not afraid to think outside the box. A strong communicator with customer service or hospitality experience . A team player who’s also happy to get hands-on in the warehouse when needed. A proactive and solution-oriented mindset – you’ll often be the face of the business for visiting tradespeople.
