Due to continuing growth, we are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join Listers Mercedes Benz Lincoln. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break, and Saturdays on a rota basis (1 in 4) from 8am – 2pm. Our packages and pay plans are industry-leading, reflecting each applicant's experience and skillset. Basic salary ranges from: £31,290 - £39,634. Bonus / OTE ranges from: £39,690 - £48,690.

Role and Responsibilities
- Technicians are responsible for servicing, repairing, and diagnosing all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard first time.
- Responsibilities include electrical and mechanical repairs such as suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing.
- Additional duties may involve repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles, using electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs, and control systems.
- You will also fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment, understand customer satisfaction's importance, and complete all service paperwork to manufacturer standards.
- Collaboration with the workshop team to share knowledge and learn is also essential.
About You
We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds with experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester, or Apprentice Vehicle Technician. Whether from an independent garage, fast-fit centre, car supermarket, or main dealer, we are interested in your experience.
You should hold or be working towards NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Qualifications in Electric and Hybrid vehicles are advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. An MOT license is beneficial but not mandatory. A full UK driving license is required. Demonstrating good mechanical and electrical knowledge and a commitment to high standards is key, and we offer training and facilities to support your career growth.
